Nothing showcases the impact of custom work better than seeing where a truck started and where it ended up. Every truck transformation Tampa owners trust us with has its own story, its own goals, and its own set of challenges. At Redline Auto Creations, we have completed over 61 full builds and hundreds of individual modifications, and each project teaches us something new about turning our customers' visions into reality.
Here are five of our favorite transformations that demonstrate the range of what is possible when you combine quality parts, skilled installation, and a clear plan.
This customer brought us a stock 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Summit White. It was a clean truck straight from the dealership with zero modifications. The owner used it for his daily commute and wanted a truck that looked great in the office parking lot but could handle weekend trips to off-road parks around central Florida.
The goal was a moderate build that maintained daily driving comfort while adding legitimate off-road capability. The budget was set at approximately $12,000, and the owner wanted to complete the build in a single phase.
We started with a 6-inch suspension lift kit that provided the ground clearance needed for trail work without making the truck feel top-heavy on the highway. The factory wheels were replaced with 20-inch Fuel Rebel wheels in matte black, wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The combination fills the wheel wells perfectly and gives the truck an aggressive but refined appearance.
For off-road protection, we installed a Road Armor Stealth front bumper with a winch mount, giving the front end a clean, integrated look while providing serious protection. LED fog lights were added to the bumper for improved visibility on trails and during Florida's afternoon storms.
We finished the build with a custom LED light bar mounted behind the grille for a stealthy look that provides powerful illumination when needed, plus a cat-back performance exhaust that gives the truck a deep, authoritative tone without being obnoxious during the morning commute. here
The transformation turned a capable but unremarkable stock truck into something that gets compliments everywhere it goes. The owner reports that the ride quality is actually better than stock thanks to the upgraded shocks included in the lift kit, and the Ridge Grapplers handle Florida's sudden rainstorms without issue.
A 2019 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited in Billet Silver arrived with a rough 2-inch budget lift that was causing vibrations and had been installed elsewhere. The owner was frustrated with the ride quality and wanted to start over with a proper build focused on trail performance.
This Jeep needed to be a serious trail machine capable of handling the rocky and rooted trails of Ocala National Forest while remaining street legal and comfortable enough for the drive to get there. The owner was willing to accept more road noise and a firmer ride in exchange for genuine off-road capability.
We removed the budget lift and replaced it with a quality 3.5-inch suspension system that included adjustable control arms, track bars, and performance shocks. This immediately solved the vibration issues and provided proper geometry for the increased ride height.
The wheels were upgraded to 17-inch Method Race Wheels 305 NV in matte black, chosen for their strength and simulated beadlock design. These were wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires, providing maximum grip on rocks and in mud.
For armor, we installed Rockslide Engineering rock sliders to protect the rocker panels, Artec front and rear skid plates to shield the underbody, and a high-clearance steel front bumper with an integrated winch mount. A 12,000-pound synthetic rope winch was mounted for self-recovery.
We also added a complete LED lighting package including upgraded headlights, a 50-inch light bar on the roof, and auxiliary pod lights mounted on the A-pillars. here
The difference between the before and after is dramatic. What was a street Jeep with a problematic lift is now a purpose-built trail machine that inspires confidence on even the most challenging terrain in Florida. The owner joined a local Jeep club and has been wheeling regularly since the build was completed.
A 2025 RAM 1500 Limited in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl. This truck was already loaded from the factory with every luxury option available. The owner did not want to rough it up but wanted it to stand out visually while maintaining the premium ride quality.
This was a show-quality build where every detail needed to complement the truck's luxury trim level. The owner wanted a cohesive, high-end appearance rather than an aggressive off-road look. The budget reflected these premium expectations.
We installed a leveling kit to eliminate the factory rake without significantly changing the ride characteristics. American Force forged wheels in a custom brushed finish were chosen in 22 inches, providing a premium look that matches the truck's upscale character.
The tires were 33-inch Toyo Open Country AT III in a size that fills the wheel wells cleanly. The subtle all-terrain tread adds capability without visual or audible aggression.
Custom paint-matched fender flares were installed and color-matched to the factory Diamond Black Crystal. Chrome delete accents were added throughout, converting chrome trim pieces to gloss black for a more modern appearance.
The audio system received a significant upgrade with a premium amplifier, component speakers throughout, and a custom-enclosed subwoofer that does not sacrifice any cargo space. Sound deadening material was applied to the doors and floor to create a quieter, more refined listening environment. here
This build demonstrates that custom does not have to mean aggressive. The RAM looks like a concept truck that could sit on a showroom floor. Everything is cohesive, every detail is considered, and the build enhances rather than fights the truck's luxury character.
A 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty in Oxford White with the XL trim package. This truck works for a living, towing equipment trailers and hauling materials. The owner needed functional upgrades that improved the truck's capability and durability without being purely cosmetic.
Every modification needed to serve a practical purpose. Better lighting for early morning and late night job sites. Upgraded bumpers for protection against the inevitable parking lot encounters with trailers and equipment. Improved audio for long days on the road. The budget was moderate, with an emphasis on value and durability.
A Road Armor front bumper replaced the factory plastic unit, providing a solid steel face that can take impacts without crumbling. The integrated LED lights improve forward visibility significantly compared to the stock halogen setup.
We upgraded the headlights to LED projectors and added a pair of auxiliary LED work lights mounted on the bed rail to illuminate the work area when loading and unloading equipment in low-light conditions.
A quality head unit with Apple CarPlay and a backup camera display replaced the base-model factory radio. New speakers and a compact amplifier provide clear audio that can be heard over road and engine noise without taking up cargo space.
Finally, we installed spray-in bed liner to protect the bed from the daily abuse of hauling tools and materials. here
This build is proof that custom work is not just about aesthetics. Every upgrade makes this truck better at its job. The owner reported that the LED lighting alone was worth the investment, and the steel bumper has already paid for itself by surviving a minor incident that would have destroyed the factory plastic bumper.
A 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in Solar Octane. The TRD Pro already comes with factory upgrades including Fox suspension, skid plates, and off-road tires. But the owner wanted to take it to the next level with a build that would be unlike any other Tundra on the road.
This was a no-compromise build. The owner wanted everything: more lift, bigger tires, full armor, custom lighting, premium audio, and a cohesive visual theme that tied it all together. This was a build planned in phases over several months, with each phase building on the previous one.
Phase one replaced the factory Fox suspension with an aftermarket long-travel system providing 4 inches of additional lift. Eighteen-inch Fuel Zephyr wheels in matte bronze were installed with 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires, requiring minor trimming for full-lock clearance.
Phase two added a full armor package: custom front bumper with integrated winch, Rockslide Engineering rock sliders, rear bumper with swing-out tire carrier, and complete Artec skid plate set protecting everything from the engine to the transfer case.
Phase three focused on lighting and electrical. A complete LED conversion for all exterior lights, auxiliary light pods, underbody rock lights, and a rooftop light bar. A dual-battery system was installed to support the electrical demands of the winch, lights, and audio system.
Phase four was the audio system: a full custom installation with a premium head unit, component speakers, a dedicated amplifier for each speaker zone, and a custom-built subwoofer enclosure. Sound deadening was applied throughout the cabin. here
This Tundra is one of the most comprehensive builds we have completed. From a distance, it commands attention. Up close, the quality of every component and every installation detail is evident. The phased approach allowed the owner to spread the cost over time while ensuring each phase was done correctly before moving to the next.

Every build is different because every owner has different goals, different budgets, and a different vision.
